What Is It?<\/h1>\n

The Team BJ Fund was established after Hurricane Harvey as an employee-funded financial hardship resource for BJ employees in crisis. BJ Services partners with Oilfield Helping Hands (OHH) to administer the Team BJ Fund. Team members can donate towards the fund or apply to receive funds if in the midst of a financial crisis.<\/p>\n

About Oilfield Helping Hands<\/h3>\n

OHH is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to oilfield workers in financial crisis through no fault of their own.\u00a0\u00a0All funds contributed to the Team BJ Fund will continue to support team members and charities in the communities where we operate.<\/p>\n

Who Can Use This Tool<\/h1>\n

US and Canada team members are eligible to both donate and apply for funds.<\/p>\n

When Can I Use This Tool?<\/h1>\n

Employees who are in a financial crisis at no fault of their own are eligible to apply. Funds are awarded based on an application process. Employee submissions for assistance are kept anonymous and confidential through OHH.<\/p>\n

How Do I Get Started?<\/h1>\n

Donating Funds<\/h3>\n

US team members may donate via automatic deductions from your biweekly paycheck. To begin, or modify, your automatic biweekly donation level, please call Team BJ Help Line<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a01-844-9BJ-TEAM<\/strong>\u00a0(844-925-8326), and press\u00a0prompt 5<\/strong>\u00a0for the\u00a0HR Operations Center.<\/strong>\u00a0A member of BJ\u2019s HR Operation Center will be able to make this change for you over the phone in your Workday profile. Your donations will start deducting from your paycheck on the next regularly scheduled payroll and will continue biweekly until you make a change.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Payroll donations are not available for our Canada team members. If you are a Canada team member and would like to donate, please contact a member of the HR staff.<\/p>\n

Applying for Funds<\/h3>\n

To apply for financial assistance, please visit the OHH website<\/a>. If OHH declines a BJ team member’s request for assistance, they will have the opportunity to allow OHH to share their application with the Team BJ Fund review committee.
